SAIC is Hiring a Program Analyst Near Washington, DC

Description

General:
Conducts research, evaluations, analyses, and studies, and presents recommendations/solutions related to short and long-term program planning requirements. Specific expertise may be required in configuration management, Earned Value Management, financial management, cost estimation, or risk management.
Specific:
Commercial Space Transportation Experience, a plus.
Key responsibilities include:
COMSTAC:
Support the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) Designated Federal Office (DFO), as needed.Responsibilities include supporting semiannual COMSTAC meetings, researching possible COMSTAC nominees, creating/editing required reports and minutes from meetings, continued development of the COMSTAC DFO SharePoint page, and other duties as assigned.

Rulemaking:
Support AST's Space Regulations and Standards Branch (ASZ-210).Responsibilities in this role include NPRM and Final Rule development , supporting government-industry meetings such as Aerospace Rulemaking Committee (SpARC), Advisory Circular (AC) review, continued development of the Branch's SharePoint page.
SharePoint Support:
Develop and upkeep SharePoint pages for COMSTAC and ASZ-210.

Other:
Support the Policy and Outreach Branch Manager (ASZ-220) by creating a monthly registration report of all US payloads and launches.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics, or operations research and 6 years of applicable experience, OR, Master's degree in any field and 3 years of experience supporting a government program management organization is required.
•Experience with the Office of Commercial Space Transportation (AST)
•Excellent writing and communication skills
•Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact positively with multiple customers
•Experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Access)
•US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
