Duties
As a Management And Program Analyst, You Will
  • Serve as an advisor on data standards across CADA Data Analytics Division.
  • Conduct and support innovative research and analysis on DOE operations to support investigations, inspections, and audits.
  • Provide technical expertise for the Department by leading efforts to analyze DOE financial assistance awards, procurements, and expenditures and to make data available and usable by the OIG.
  • Recommend policies and procedures for activities pertaining to the data program in compliance with federal law, regulations, and best practices.
RequirementsConditions of Employment
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
  • This employer participates in the e-Verify program.

  • Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by a background investigation.
  • May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
  • May be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 or an Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
  • This position is a drug testing designated position and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
  • Must obtain and maintain a L security clearance.
  • Will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program.
QualificationsSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for the GS-13 Grade Level is defined as: one full year of specialized experience that is at least equivalent in difficulty and complexity to work performed at the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience is technical data analytics related expertise in working with teams to develop data-driven solutions, products and definitions that address program and business challenges. This experience must include:
  • Create and maintain visualizations using visualization software (e.g., Power BI).
  • Translate data analyses into meaningful, easily understood communications.
  • Conduct data analytics to test hypotheses, predict outcomes, and inform decisions.
  • Consult with stakeholders to meet business requirements.
