As a Management And Program Analyst, You Will
- Serve as an advisor on data standards across CADA Data Analytics Division.
- Conduct and support innovative research and analysis on DOE operations to support investigations, inspections, and audits.
- Provide technical expertise for the Department by leading efforts to analyze DOE financial assistance awards, procurements, and expenditures and to make data available and usable by the OIG.
- Recommend policies and procedures for activities pertaining to the data program in compliance with federal law, regulations, and best practices.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- This employer participates in the e-Verify program.
- Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by a background investigation.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- May be required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450 or an Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually (5CFR Part 2634, Subpart I USOGE, 6/08).
- This position is a drug testing designated position and is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing.
- Must obtain and maintain a L security clearance.
- Will be required to participate in the Direct Deposit Electronics Funds Transfer Program.
Specialized experience for the GS-13 Grade Level is defined as: one full year of specialized experience that is at least equivalent in difficulty and complexity to work performed at the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience is technical data analytics related expertise in working with teams to develop data-driven solutions, products and definitions that address program and business challenges. This experience must include:
- Create and maintain visualizations using visualization software (e.g., Power BI).
- Translate data analyses into meaningful, easily understood communications.
- Conduct data analytics to test hypotheses, predict outcomes, and inform decisions.
- Consult with stakeholders to meet business requirements.

Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Time-in-Grade: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
