Job Title
Contract Specialist (Hybrid: Cambridge, MA)
Job Description
As a member of a dynamic contracts team, you will assist our customers by helping to operationalize contract requirements in a variety of software systems that support operations from market to cash.
Your role:
  • Responsible for overseeing commercial contracts in SAP and Apttus, managing the process from initiation to completion of contracts valued over $100M. Also, work closely by collaborating with various partners and stakeholders to ensure contracts are compliant and operationalized to support downstream business activities and comply with Philips' requirements.
  • Support customers and stakeholders by taking point on issue resolution, escalation management, and investigations to address a wide range of challenges. Also, apply Lean strategies for continuous improvement, including process development and creation or modification of work instructions.
  • Be proficient in managing and analyzing extensive data sets using various tools and methodologies to improve business processes and outcomes. Additionally, leverage large data sets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives and enhance overall business performance and customers satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
You're the right fit if:
  • You have 3 years of experience in a contracting position where you used critical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks in contracts; you can display flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment and are able to manage and prioritize multiple projects, working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Your skills include ability to ability to display organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills; intermediate proficiency in Excel which includes vlookup's and matching of disparate data; experience with Salesforce.com/Apttus/Conga and SAP
  • You have a Bachelor' degree and/or equivalent business experience with Contracting and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO)
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
