Job Title: Sr Specialist, System Administration Job Code: 10433 Job Location: Melbourne, FL Job Description: Essential Functions: * Experience configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting RedHat Linux systems. * Experience developing and maintaining automation scripts for system provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks using tools like Ansible, Terraform and Packer. * Experience implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting Splunk, Tripwire/AIDE, Tenable SC, and malware solutions.
* Experience with cloud engineering or administration (AWS GovCloud)
* Experience with scripting languages (Python or BASH)
* Familiarity with implementing and maintaining security controls in compliance with DoD security frameworks. * Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), agile system development, and DevSecOps tools and processes * Work is 100% remote
Qualifications: * Education: * Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of relevant experience OR
* Master's Degree and minimum 4 years of relevant experience OR
* In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years prior related experience
* Must be able to get a Public Trust Preferred Additional Skills: * DOD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (Sec ) * Current Linux Certifications such as:
* RedHat Certification (RHCSA or RHCE)
* CompTIA Linux
* AWS Cloud Certifications
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect
* AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
* AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
* AWS Security Specialty
* Security administration experience in support of RMF requirements
* Demonstrated knowledge RMF and cybersecurity requirements.
* Ability to integrate RMF principles into ground-up builds.
* Previous experience supporting DoD & IC Government customers.
* Experience with continuous integration, build management, and/or automated test frameworks.
* Hardware/software requirement verification/system validation experience
* Experience with Jira and Bitbucket / GitLab
* Experience supporting DoD/government customers.
* Understanding of network security principles, VPN, firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
* Experience with project management principles and tools (Agile, Scrum)
* Experience working closely with Development Teams to support DevOps
