U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. is Hiring a CAD Manager Near Mesa, AZ

 Visionary Electrical Solutions, Inc. (VES), a division of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc., is a newly formed company focused on the prefabrication of electrical systems for the commercial construction market. VES is looking for a CAD Manager for its Mesa, AZ region. The CAD Manager manages a team of computer aided design (CAD)Technicians.

 The duties and responsibilities include:

  • Help develop and maintain CAD software standards and procedures
  • Provide technical support, training, and guidance to CAD operators under your supervision.
  • Assist with the development and creation of new design solutions that will help differentiate the organization from its industry competitors. 
  • Collaborate with project engineers to assist them with the preparation of design drawings and the creation of final installation drawings that accompany fabricated product.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of CAD software and related technologies
  • As need exists, assist with the recruitment, hiring and training of additional members of the CAD department team. 
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure that installation drawings are complete and ready to ship with outbound product.

Required Skills:

  • Expert level knowledge of AutoCad products; working knowledge of Solidworks a plus.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining CAD software standards and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
  • Preferred experience working with architectural, electrical or mechanical related project drawings but other CAD experience considered for strong candidate.
