U.S. LUMBER GROUP is Hiring a Mobile Equipment Administrator Near North Jackson, OH

Job Summary:
The Mobile Equipment Administrator will work closely with the Mobile Asset Team to provide support to management and to maximize the company’s Mobile Assets, transportation goals and objectives.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Ensure all equipment is properly entered and removed into and from Timber for all brands
  • Process and complete all required documents for commercial trucks, trailers, and forklifts, i.e., equipment decals, insurance cards, IFTA, registration, HUT, etc.
  • Complete and submit annual UCR documents
  • Report bi-annual MCS-150 updates with FMCSA
  • Submit annual 2290’s (HUT) for company owned vehicles over 55,000 GVW
  • Complete annual IRP registrations and renewals for all company owned operations vehicles
  • File monthly NY HUT & Quarterly KY & CT HUT
  • File Federal/State IFTA and highway use taxes
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Working environment consists of an office workspace which is conditioned but may encounter various degrees of heat or cold, light and dust
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 90% of the time
  • Must have the manual dexterity to continually use a computer keyboard and mouse, calculator, and phone; as well as other office productivity machinery, such as a printer and copy machine
  • The person in this position needs to be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • May infrequently move or lift boxes (e.g., paper, office supplies, etc.) weighing up to approximately 25 pounds
  • May be required to travel, DMV office, Title Bureau and IRP office

Required Credentials:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a DOT related position preferred.
  • Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT, and Federal Regulations, as it relates to commercial equipment, qualifications and related compliance issues is preferred.
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $41,740.30 - $50,267.89 per year
