Specific Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for expansion.
- Foster strategic partnerships both within and adjacent to the industry to align with organizational objectives and company culture.
- Develop and implement strategic growth plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Collaborate with the innovation team to identify market needs and create innovative solutions for end users.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Work with governmental affairs to identify and assess potential regulatory threats and opportunities in the market.
- Assist sales teams in project identification and development to achieve sales targets.
- Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in business development, project management, engineering, sales, or marketing. (Experience in waterworks and /or utility infrastructure market is preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel to client meetings and business events.
