Job Description Storeroom Clerk – Mason City Plant Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager the Storeroom Clerk is responsible for the issuance of all MRO purchases/parts while maintaining maintenance management system integrity. This role specializes in outstanding customer service as well as delivering parts identification as needed, SAP knowledge and support, and accurate inventory analysis. This role supports the Maintenance Supervisor as needed. This is done in order to lead parts inventory accuracy by process comprehension and delivery. This function will support initiatives that will improve Storeroom efficiencies as well as support parts availability. The Storeroom Clerk will support and abide by all department policies and procedures. Act in a professional manner, reflecting the mission philosophy, and values of Kraft Heinz Company. Responsible for following FSQ requirements such as GMPs and other daily and job-specific duties to support the implementation of QRMP. Communicate effectively to avoid errors and to make adjustments based on feedback from co-workers and supervisors. Be an active participant in designated safety committee(s). Be a champion of Kraft Heinz Safety Values, support and follow all plant safety policies. Working Conditions 40 hours per week/8 hours daily/5 days per week Overtime required as needed. Flexibility to adjust shift schedule to work with employees on other shifts needed. Benefits & Compensation Overview: Benefits start after 30 days of employment Starting Rate $24.71/hr Eligibility for overtime compensation Starting with 4 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) Key Responsibilities of the Role: Regular and prompt attendance Validate work and correct errors Customer Service / Parts Issuance / SAP utilization-entering data, displaying data, verifying data Document daily activities as required for quality assurance. Document daily activities as required for quality assurance. Inventories – daily, yearly, monthly as needed. Support the storeroom in the receiving role. Support the Storeroom in the receiving role. Movement of parts on shelves. Storeroom cleaning and organizing. Train other employees as required in a safe and efficient manner. MSDS tracking – ensure receipt when required, copy Safety Coordinator, inventory for accuracy, file Kitting process – resource to responsible team members for receipt and disbursement of parts Read, follow, and update JTAs for the area Physical Requirements: Frequent standing & walking required. Lifting up to 50 lbs.
