As the Manager of Americas Medical Operations, you will shape and lead operational strategy, long-term planning, execution and cross-functional interactions. Closely collaborate with Global Medical Affairs (GMA leadership to ensure Americas Medical Operations goals are aligned with MA strategy. This role will be in Fort Worth, Texas, and a typical day will include: Lead medical operation planning and execution, based on Medical Affairs (MA) strategy. Responsible for implementation, oversight and governance of globally aligned metrics, qualitative analytics, reporting infrastructure and tools, systems, and processes, that enable Medical Affairs teams to function compliantly and effectively. Collaborate with and effectively influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver on medical operations objectives. Foster a culture of innovation and teamwork withing the Global Medical Affairs team and our network of external collaborators. Responsible to ensure MA strategies and tactics are realized for key Congresses, collaborating and with key internal and external stakeholders for planning, tracking and implementation of agreed objectives. Lead high performing, innovative Medical Operations team, that is well trained and developed to meet goals and objectives. What You’ll Bring to Alcon: Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a Health Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience 5 years of demonstrated leadership experience Ability to read fluently, write, understand, and communicate in English Preferred Qualifications: 3-5 years of project management experience Desired PMP certification a plus.
