U4EA Farms is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Cultivation Technician to join our growing team, this is a chance to get into the cannabis industry at the ground floor and grow your career. You will be responsible for all aspects of cannabis plant care across various stages of growth.

Responsibilities:

• Topping and bottoming plants
• Transplanting, defoliating, and training plants
• Tending to different grow media
• Scouting for diseases and pests
• Adhering to national grow models and standards
• Preparing rooms for harvest
• Harvesting and breaking down plants
• Defoliating and hanging plants on dry racks
• Cleaning dry and flower rooms between harvests
• Sweeping, mopping, and overall cleaning

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; Associate degree or certifications a plus
• Working knowledge of the medical and recreational cannabis industry a plus
• Understanding of general plant physiology and biology, with cannabis-specific knowledge a plus
• Ability to work in various temperature conditions
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks timely
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Organizational and prioritization skills

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum age of 21
• Valid state ID
• Ability to obtain and maintain state agent requirements (background check and state review required)

Job Type: Full-time
