Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Dietitian at UAB Medical West in Bessemer, AL. The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for providing medical nutrition therapy, conducting nutritional counseling, and assessing and monitoring patients' nutritional needs. They will develop and implement personalized nutrition plans, collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the best patient outcomes, and educate patients and their families on proper nutrition.
Qualifications
- Dietetics and Human Nutrition skills
- Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy
- Ability to provide Nutritional Counseling
- Knowledge of Nutrition principles
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
- Experience in a clinical setting
- Master's degree in nutrition
