Your Role on the TeamPosition SummaryA non-exempt medical office position responsible for providing direct nursing care in a medical office setting under the direction of a physician, assists medical providers, and maintains a clean and safe environment in accordance with the policies and procedures of the practice. Position will also assist in ensuring optimal efficiency in clinical process.

Required Qualifications
  • Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
  • Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
  • Education: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), medical assistant diploma from an accredited vocational institution, or a community college course in medical assisting.
  • Experience: Minimum one year of recent experience working in a Pain Management/Orthopedic as a medical assistant, scheduler, and obtaining authorizations.
  • Must be able to travel between office locations. Clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Multiple office locations located within 3 miles of each other
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
