Uses professional concepts, industry standards, and best practices in maintaining databases. Demonstrates functional proficiency / fluency. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate course of action. Applies campus / medical center / OP policies and procedures to resolve a variety of database issues. Works on database problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requiresa review of a variety of factors.
Data management: Is responsible for the management and analysis of data, including validation of abstracted data and performance of inter-rater reliability testing. Develops databases, spreadsheets, and statistical tools to identify improvement opportunities. Benchmarks key performance indicators against regional, national, and like group metrics. Works with IS resources to build reports and queries, develop a concurrent Tableau dashboard, develop and test automated data feeds from EPIC into cardiovascular registry software, and optimize EPIC utilization.
Communicates and collaborates with faculty and staff in support of data integrity and internal transparency. Serves as the local expert for registry definitions and related national guidelines/expert consensus statements in area of specialty. Manages information required for external data submission for the purpose of obtaining and/or maintaining regulatory compliance, certifications and/or payer obligations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSSix (6) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two (2) years of related experience/training.
Data analysis, process improvement and/or project management experience, preferably at an academic medical center.

Annual Full Pay Range: $67,200 - $119,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $32.18 - $57.28
