This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive and remote.
The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies aimed at driving growth across designated clinical programs while elevating UC San Diego Health as the health system of choice for consumers. The individual draws on knowledge of marketing concepts to select appropriate methods and techniques and evaluation criteria for measuring results.
This role oversees the coordination of promotional campaigns, advertising plans, and the monitoring of all consumer-focused tactics to gauge effectiveness, with a key emphasis on reporting and presenting results to stakeholders. The expectation is that these cohesive strategies will differentiate UC San Diego Health and forge a meaningful connection with the constituencies UC San Diego Health serves to drive patient acquisition and brand preference.
This position also encompasses project management responsibilities for corporate initiatives and specialized projects as assigned. Close collaboration with clinical program leadership and various internal teams - including social media, press and media, creative services, content, and digital - is essential to ensure alignment across all marketing efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proven track record in devising and executing marketing strategies aimed at promoting healthcare services/products to consumers.
Experience in developing marketing plans specifically tailored to reach diverse patient populations, with a specific focus on Spanish-speaking audiences.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in CRM marketing to generate leads and drive patient acquisition.
Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, digital marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office suite.
Familiarity with Asana as a project management system and Siteimprove as a web analytics tool.
Skilled in developing impactful presentations and report outs for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Keen attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy under high volumes of work and deadlines.
Proficiency in agile strategy adaptation, seamlessly pivoting in response to new insights and emerging information.
Demonstrated capability to multitask effectively and take initiative, adept at working autonomously while maintaining the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently as required.
Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act
Annual Full Pay Range: $91,300 - $170,700 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $43.73 - $81.75
Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
