In this position, you will independently prioritize work, perform administrative functions and processes necessary information. Provide assistance with the utilization review process including communicating clinical information/reviews to third party payers to ensure certification/approval of inpatient services. This role will work closely with the Case Managers, Patient Access Services, Medical Records, and Patient Business Services in order to maximize patient satisfaction and quality of care, while minimizing negative financial and patient progression outcomes. The Authorization Coordinator will also provide general administrative support and perform other related duties as assigned.

Salary range: $29.42 – $42.14 Hourly
