DescriptionUnder the guidance of the Principal Investigator and supervision of the Project Scientist, you will provide technical support to multiple members of the research team on projects investigating the molecular genetics of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Job duties include coordinating biomaterial shipments with external collaborators; extracting DNA and RNA; maintaining biomaterial archives using a barcode-based inventory system and preparing samples for downstream analyses; performing PCR; basic data quality control; and maintaining a database of experimental results. You should have basic wet lab skills, be at ease with computers and new technology, and enjoy tasks that demand attention to detail. Pay Range: $24.88 - $29.67 Hourly
