UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland is Hiring a Community Benefit Contract Liaison Near Oakland, CA

Job Purpose Statement:
Physician Services Department is responsible for managing a financial portfolio of approximately $100M in BCH Oakland physician expense ($65M) and Community Benefit Agreements ($35M). The Department works in a matrixed organization with the School of Medicine (SOM), Faculty Practice Organization (FPO) and other external stakeholders like Alameda and other Behavioral Health entities in Northern California. The Community Benefit Contract Liaison works in collaboration with the Executive Director Finance & Professional Services Operations and other BCH Operational Managers to ensure financial and organizational goals/objectives are met.
Under the management and leadership of the Executive Director Finance & Professional Services Operations this position is responsible for Community Benefit Agreements (CBAs) budgets, contract development, grants management and other financial processes within the Physician Services department. This position will provide important reporting, invoicing activity, and financial information to key stakeholders, hospital leadership, Ambulatory/Ancillary Services, and will analyze contract performance, including volumes, expense & service utilization, profitability, and the organization's competitive position in the marketplace.
The Community Benefit Contract Liaison will be responsible for ensuring all regulatory and compliance standards are met and stakeholders are informed and aware these agreements this include uniform guidance for those agreements that are funded through federal dollars. The Community Benefit Contract Liaison will serve as a subject matter expert in the Community Benefit Agreements including cost centers and BCH Oakland employees who UCSF SF research. The position will be a liaison and coordinate efforts related to BCH SF/UCSF Work Orders among the key stakeholders in the UCSF School of Medicine departments, BCH Accounting/Finance.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration or Business-related field from an accredited college or university.
Minimum Experience: At least 4 years' relevant experience required.

Stand/Walk: 3-6 hours
Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours
Reach: Up to 3 hours
Rep Use of UE/Grasp: Up to 8 hrs
Lift/Push/Pull: 15 lbs
