UDI, a leading architectural millwork company specializing in custom wood and metal work for businesses, institutions, and families, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Laborer to join our dynamic team. As a Skilled Tradesman, you will play a crucial role in the production process, working on various projects including stairs, commercial jobs, windows, doors, and more. Your attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship will contribute to the success of our company as we continue to exceed our clients' expectations. This position has opportunity for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of tasks to support the production team, including but not limited to material handling, assembly, sanding, finishing, and packaging of wood and metal components.
• Follow work instructions to ensure accurate and precise execution of project requirements.
• Operate machinery and tools, such as saws, drills, sanders, and hand tools, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and project deadlines.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and finished products as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a similar production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and tools is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
