The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), Project Development division is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the Alternative Delivery Program as the Alternative Delivery Transportation Project Manager.

You will collaborate closely with the Alternative Delivery Engineer and the Project Manager to assist in managing and coordinating tasks and activities related to overseeing alternative delivery projects. You will assist with procurement, contracting, execution, documenting process, capturing lessons learned, and incorporating improvements into the alternative delivery program. You will work within the Project Development division and coordinate with region and central personnel to complete a variety of tasks relevant to administering alternative delivery projects and improving the alternative delivery program. A significant amount of time reviewing alternative delivery documents and processes is expected. Management of consultants and internal staff may be required.

Principle Duties
As the Alternative Delivery Transportation Project Manager, you will:

• Support the Alternative Delivery Engineer and Project Manager in administering the alternative delivery program.
• Assist in developing an Alternative Delivery Guidebook.
• Attend project team meetings and respond to the relevant needs of the project.
• Provide guidance and support to the project team throughout the procurement process.
• Assist in developing and approving the project goals.
• Assist in managing the procurement schedule and any associated appointments
• Assist project teams in completing the Project Advertisement Checklist.
• Assist in developing the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) and the Request for Proposals (RFP).
• Assist in maintaining the RFP templates and document proposed revisions for the Alternative Delivery Engineer's consideration.
• Coordinate posting the RFP and applicable addenda on the UDOT web page.
• Attend one-on-one meetings and document notes for the project team, including assignments for individuals to respond to Alternative Technical Concepts (ATCs).
• Administer proposal evaluations including coordination of location, proposal security and transportation, arrange for meals, arrange to supply materials, coordinate schedules, etc.
• Process and consolidate proposal evaluation comments.
• Inform the design-build teams of the selection committee’s decision.
• Assist in debriefing the design-build teams on the selection process results.

The Ideal Candidate
The best person for this position will have:

• A Bachelor's degree, or higher, in business or other closely related field (or equivalent experience)
• At least four years of related experience in procurement, contract management, transportation related projects, or other related fields.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.77 - $56.17 per hour
