BlueHalo has an opportunity available for a Research Scientist to join our collaborative multidisciplinary team at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). The position focuses on basic and applied research projects involving development of novel polymeric and hybrid materials.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Primary research responsibilities will be to develop synthetic strategies and routes to produce polymer-grafted nanoparticles, primarily using polycarbosilanes, which are specialty polymers used in the synthesis of high-performance ceramics. We are particularly interested in a highly motivated, adaptable, and capable individual with a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
