The Nurse Manager (NM) is a registered professional nurse who plays a pivotal role in patient care and services. With critical thinking skills and resource management expertise, the NM ensures quality performance, positive employee relations, and compliance with hospital guidelines. They lead and mentor a professional team, deliver patient services, and demonstrate effective stewardship of resources. As a change agent, the NM implements necessary unit changes and actively engages in outstanding customer service.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree strongly preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Must have current Florida nursing license.
• ACLS , BLS for Healthcare Providers preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of professional nursing practice experience required; 5 years preferred in a Medical-Surgical hospital environment.
• Hospital management experience strongly preferred
