Functions as a member of the Neurodiagnostics department and performs quality diagnostic transcranial Doppler studies in both inpatient and outpatient environments. Performs neurovascular procedures under the supervision of the director, lead technologist and staff physicians. As advanced competencies are completed, the technologist may perform more advanced procedures (i.e., sickle cell protocol and embolic detection with bubbles).

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited ultrasound or cardiovascular technology program (AS equivalent or higher).
• A minimum of one (1) year of work experience as an echo/vascular/transcranial Doppler technologist with experience with pediatric and adult populations is preferred.
• Ideal candidate must be highly self-motivated and able to work without direct supervision.
• Candidate must also be capable of assuming a leadership role when required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Healthcare Provider BLS – American Heart, American Red Cross.
