Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an outpatient orthopedic PT at UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital in Ocala, FL. The PT will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, treatments, and education to patients with orthopedic conditions. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as necessary. The PT will also document patient care and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist licensure in the state of Florida
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Experience working with orthopedic patients
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and patient education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative healthcare environment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Ability to comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
