Job Opening Summary
Assists as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse and anesthesiologist to deliver direct patient care before, during and after surgery. The technologist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under the supervision of a registered nurse. The surgical technologist provides nursing support to achieve the organization's mission of excellent patient care and nursing's vision of setting a new standard of excellence in autonomous and accountable nursing practice committed to patient advocacy and innovative patient care in a climate of trust and collaboration.
Must successfully pass an FBI Level 2 screening for this position.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program; or
- Certified surgical technologist with less than one year of experience.
Minimum Pay Rate - Hourly: $23.41 Midpoint Pay Rate - Hourly: $32.41
