Job Opening Summary
Assists as a member of the surgical team who works with the surgeon, registered nurse and anesthesiologist to deliver direct patient care before, during and after surgery. The technologist specialist functions as an instrument assistant and may also function as a circulating assistant under the supervision of a registered nurse. Instructs and supervises orientees in sterile technique, procedures, anatomy, etc.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- AST certification required and AST or NCCT certification maintained.
- Graduate of a recognized surgical technologist program.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- AST certification.
- AST or NCCT recertification.
Minimum Pay Rate - Hourly: $23.41 Midpoint Pay Rate - Hourly: $32.41
