Functions as a team member of the Vascular Diagnostics Laboratory by providing prompt, accurate and thorough non-invasive vascular testing and completing advanced provisional reports in a fast-paced work environment. Completes exams for outpatient clinics, which include advanced specialized interventions from UF Health Vascular Surgery, as well as inpatient exams, including neonates through Gerontology, ICU, ER and ongoing research trials. Responsible for performing examinations as well as assisting in the daily operations which include, but are not limited to, IAC quarterly data, precepting interns and fellows, assisting with vascular OR cases, and rotation of charge role duties. Daily studies include, but are not limited to, vein mapping, abdominal aorta-AAA screening, abdominal aorta iliac duplex, arterial Doppler upper or lower extremities, arterial Doppler lower extremity with or without exercise, renal artery duplex, mesenteric (SMA/celiac) duplex, venous insufficiency, thoracic outlet, graft scan lower and upper extremity with or without ABI, pre-op assessment for AVF placement, arterial mapping, AVF duplex hemodialysis graft, venous duplex upper or lower extremity, AVF (fistula) duplex and carotid.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited vascular technology program.
• ARMDS RVT or CCI RVS eligible.
• One year of experience preferred.

• ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) required within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification.
