HIKINEX is Hiring a Payroll/AP Manager Near Boston, MA
The A/P & Payroll Manager holds primary responsibility for overseeing both Payroll and Accounts Payable functions while actively contributing to the development of the financial controls and reporting system.

- Gathering of timesheets thru HH2 Software
- Processing payroll thru Paychex
- Downloading and Transferring Payroll to Timberline (Our Construction Accounting Software)
- Posting for 180 employees
- Assist in implementation of new payroll software (Paylocity)
- Assist Accounts Payable Manager with daily entering of AP thru Timberscan.
- Help with credit card expenses and other AP tasks assigned.
- Develop and integrate a system of controls and financial reporting.
- A disciplined professional manager and team player possessing good organizational skills, systems, and interpersonal skills.
- A solid understanding of construction projects.
- This individual will assist the CFO with activities related to the control reporting for all construction processes.
- Interface with all divisions of the company.
- Assist in the Month End and Year End Closings.
- Assist in preparing month-end financial package and schedules including Work in Process, etc.
- Assist in developing and managing Information Systems for the Accounting Department.
- 3-5 years job-related experience.
- Ability to manage through conflict, complexity and to problem-solve issues to resolution.
- Ability to comfortably communicate, both verbally in presentation and conversation, and written in correspondence to the project team, vendors, consultants, prospects, and partners.
- Ability to adapt to change, establish relationships, and work in a team environment.
- Problem Solver Working Knowledge of Construction accounting software (Sage 300 CRE) such as Timberline or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Payroll.
- Tireless work ethic.
- Professionalism/Ethics Responsibility/Credibility.
