Job Summary (Purpose):

The Safety Compliance Analyst will provide timely & accurate data analysis and system management in order to support strategies aimed at reducing incident rates and ensuring compliance within applicable federal regulations. The Analyst will be involved in heavy data analysis using safety software systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide safety database system(s) administration, maintenance and management. This includes user configuration, workflows, reporting, organizational hierarchy, incident/injury classification and corrective actions reviews. Produce recurring reporting (KPI’s, trends analysis) and project deliverables, including ad-hoc reporting requests
• Leads the Safety division in the use and adoption of industry standard BI solutions
• Provide end user help/support regarding access, reporting incidents, system navigation and ad hoc education (helpdesk support).
• Assists in the development of programs to improve performance as requested.
• Monitor the corrective action follow-up from field safety audits in all business units and provides status reports to management identifying problem areas and verifying compliance. Analyze audit findings, identify trends, and assist in the development of programs to improve performance as required.
• Work with Safety Leadership and vendor to build and improve regulatory compliance profiles and participate as needed in compliance audits of selected AmeriGas operating facilities. 
• Knowledgable in the development and use of the safety software systems.
• Assists in the development of other safety procedures and training programs as needed.
• Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
• Create, modify, update and implement the company’s policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent analytical skills – Experience in data analysis and statistics that will provide new insights into improved safety performance. 
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet) required, advanced computer skills a plus.
• Communications – Ability to prepare analysis, Power Points, and effective writing and speaking skills in teams and groups.
• Good communication skills, adaptive to change, problem solving skills, bias for action.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform or be able to develop the skills and knowledge to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Technical writing skills
• Familiarization with Incident Management Systems, fleet management, and driver compliance programs a plus.
• Knowledgeable in OSHA, EPA and life-safety codes and standards.

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience

Working conditions:

Remote with some limited travel to field locations.
