Responsibilities:
Cedar Hills Hospital and Outpatient Services is a 98-bed, free-standing psychiatric hospital and outpatient center specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. We provide a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs that are tailored to meet the needs of our patients. Our mission is to provide safe, effective, and compassionate mental health and substance use treatment.
Looking for: Full time, part time, and Per Diem positions available.

The Mental Health Technician observes, escorts, and monitors patients; reports observations to the Registered Nurse; provides basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse; assists patients with activities of daily living; assists in the maintenance of a safe, secure, and clean environment; and engages patients in positive role models recovery oriented behaviors.

Job requirements include:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Knowledge of behavior management strategies required to provide care for persons with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders, knowledge of approved techniques to assist patients with ambulation and self care preferred. Must be able to read, understand, and follow policies, procedures, and written treatment plans.
This is not a remote position - you must be located in the Portland area.
