Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide primary care coordination for patients and implement a collaborative care plan as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.

Duties include: Assess mental health needs; develop nursing diagnoses, identify outcomes, plan and evaluate nursing care; administer and/or monitor the effects and side effects of medications and treatments ordered by a physician; to ensure safety and provide consistent therapeutic milieu management and crisis intervention strategies.

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently hiring registered nurses to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position is for 2 weekdays with every other weekend from 7:00pm-7:30am, making this a 36-hour work week.

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina Area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, The Carolina Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONSADN or BSN in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing required. South Carolina registered nurse license with current registration required. Multi-state license with South Carolina included in the compact is also acceptable. CPR training will be provided.
