UHS is Hiring an ADMISSIONS RN- NIGHTS Near CLIVE, IA

Responsibilities

Intake RN

Be a part of our caring team of professionals at Clive Behavioral Health, where we provide compassionate inpatient and outpatient care for individuals who struggle with a behavioral health disorder or co-occurring disorders. Our care providers work closely with patients and their loved ones to help achieve their personal treatment goals. We provide a secure, healing environment for all our patients, staff and visitors. Clive Behavioral Health is a 100-inpatient bed stand-alone mental health hospital. We also offer intensive outpatient programming (IOP) for adolescents aged 13 to 17 and a substance use disorder intensive outpatient program for adults called First Step Recovery. Our goal with all of our programs is to help people reach their highest quality of life.

The Intake Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for people suffering from a mental health emergency. The Intake Coordinator interviews and assesses patients and shares the information with the psychiatrist to determine appropriate level of care. The incumbent coordinates the patient’s admission into the appropriate program and communicates with the patient, family, and staff to ensure the patient is safe and treated with dignity and respect.

This position will be scheduled to work 3 pm - 11:30 pm, 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Education: Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or Human Services field or licensed RN.

Organized, detail oriented

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
