Responsibilities
Human Resource Generalist
Dover Behavioral Health System has an exciting position within our Human Resources Department. We invite applications for the position of a Human Resources Generalist to join the Universal Health Services, Inc. family. The successful candidate will provide full-life cycle Recruitment and HR Service Delivery for Dover Behavioral Health System located in Dover, DE.
Responsibilities will include:
  • Conduct employee onboarding, and manage employee records and training
  • Provide HR support to employees and management on daily issues, such as leave of absence and performance management
  • Maintain confidential HR records, track employee training and certifications, and analyze HR metrics
  • Coordinate hospital training classes and events, and serve as a liaison for employee recognition programs
  • Support the HR director with daily operations, regulatory surveys, and other projects, while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; or high school diploma with equivalent years' of experience
  • 3 years human resources experience, including full life cycle recruitment and employee relations experience; Hospital Experience is a plus
  • Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
  • Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
  • Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
  • Customer Service focused attitude, with high level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
