We are seeking qualified candidates for our Maintenance Technician - Day Shift opening. The selected candidate will maintain a safe and functional environment for patients, employees and guests.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities will include:

• Repairing and maintaining the HVAC system and equipment for the hospital
• Delivering general repair, painting, and maintenance of the hospital
• Maintaining an inventory of all supplies throughout the facility
• Delivering high-quality customer service to the patients, staff, and guests by identifying their needs and providing timely maintenance
• Tracking maintenance requests in request management system
• Carry out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair
• Preparing facility for special functions, including setting up tables, chairs, equipment, etc.
• Responding in a timely manner to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures

Minimum:

• High School Diploma, GED and/or equivalent combination of education 

Preferred:

• Industry certifications preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance or a related field.

*UHS benefits are available to employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours per week. Coverage is effective on day 31 of employment. Eligibility for employees who are scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week varies by location.
