Heritage Oaks Hospital is currently looking for a Per Diem Patient Driver to join our Transportation Team! This position provides transportation of patients to and from the facility providing continuous observation, interaction, and role modeling to the patients while maintaining safety at all times.

• Report all van maintenance problems to the Director of Plant Operations.
• Communicate and consult with the Charge Nurse (R.N.) and other staff members regarding patient care issues and information.
• Get lunch from the cafeteria and provide to patients, as assigned.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent preferred. 

Licensure: Valid Class B driver’s license, passenger endorsement and current medical examination required.

Additional Requirements:  Must be 21 years or older and have and maintain a good driving record as obtained from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Handle with Care and Verbal De-escalation training within 90 days of employment and CPR (training provided in-house). May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
