Valley Hospital Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and talented Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) staff member to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.

The Unit Coordinator at the Facility manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care.

Job Summary:

The Unit Coordinator at the Facility manages the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care. Must have ability to communicate orally, telephonically, and in writing; working knowledge of computer systems; must maintain certification CPR, Verbal De-Escalation, and Handle With Care. Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player. Good documentation, organization and time management skills are necessary. Must be effective in decision-making and problem solving.

Location:  3550 East Pinchot Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 

Schedule:  This is a full-time, Day Shift position. Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and previous secretarial experience preferred.
