A great UHY client is seeking a Financial Analyst, FP&A to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and strong Excel skills.
The Financial Analyst, FP&A position is an onsite position with flexibility on a given day. This is a client direct hire position.
Financial Analyst, FP&A Responsibilities:
- Support the forecasting and planning process through analysis of actual results and variances to forecast and budget
- Own the data management and maintenance of the Company’s forecasting/planning software, Workday Adaptive
- Ensure that data in Workday Adaptive is reconciled to the Company’s ERP, Plex, and that reporting is consistent between the two systems
- Work with Manufacturing and Sales/Marketing to sync up data from the systems to Adaptive for Budget, Forecast, KPIs
- Assist in maintenance of monthly financial reports, including expense and capital forecast, in close coordination with the Company’s Finance team
- Assist in preparation of the monthly financial reporting package for internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
- Work cross functionally to support departments on budget- and forecast-related requests
- Support the overall Annual Budget process with department managers and directors
- Create reports with direction from Finance Director and Sr FP&A Analyst
- Ad hoc reporting and assistance to the Finance and Accounting team
- Take on additional responsibilities and projects as needed
Financial Analyst, FP&A Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Finance or Accounting
- 2-5 years’ experience, manufacturing or automotive industry experience preferred
- Analytical, detail-oriented skillset with high commitment to accuracy and timeliness Self-motivated team player with an exceptional level of honesty and integrity
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, with knowledge of Power BI a plus
- Experience working with ERPs, Consolidation systems and Budgeting software, experience with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred
