A great UHY client is seeking a Temp Accounting Consultant to join their team for a 3 month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with accounting in Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central, general accounting experience (GAAP, Accruals, experience with Financial Statements, etc.), and strong excel skills.

The Temp Accounting Consultant position is hybrid/mostly remote (being in office only once a week or so). This is a client direct hire position.

Temp Accounting Consultant Responsibilities:

• Assist in the configuration and setup of the new ERP system to meet the organization's accounting needs. (Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central )
• Provide guidance and recommendations for best practices in utilizing the ERP system for accounting functions.
• Participate in testing and validation of the ERP system to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Develop and document accounting policies, procedures, and workflows within the ERP system.
• Assists with analysis of financial statements
• Assists with month end close
• Assists and provides support for external and internal audit processes
• Ensures financial statement integrity and compliance with GAAP and company policies

Temp Accounting Consultant Qualifications:

• Strong experience with accounting in Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central
• Strong Excel Skills
• Accounting experience (GAAP, Accruals, experience with Financial Statements, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
