UIC Alaska is Hiring a Budget Analyst Near Picatinny Arsenal, NJ

Overview:

Budget Analyst

Bowhead seeks a Budget Analyst to support the PM CCS contract at Picatinny, NJ. The Budget Analyst is responsible for providing recommendations on the considerations and application of funding analysis.

Responsibilities:

Essential functions will include:

  • Prepare funding documents.
  • Track funding execution and measure program performance against established goals.
  • Collect, review, and consolidate information to be included in budget justification documents and prepare them in accordance with the applicable guidance.
  • Support fulfilling various audit requirements including the Quarterly Audit Inventory Valuation and Quarterly Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP).
  • Work with project officers to create and maintain up-to-date spend plans.
  • Update multiple obligation plans and other reporting trackers ensuring accuracy against GFEBS Status of Funds reports.
  • Work in conjunction with JMC to prepare award sheets for Army Contracting Commands.
  • Process Pricing and Availability requests that come in for Other Service and FMS.
  • Process MIPRs into and out of the PMs Fund Center.
  • Work quarterly taskers that come through for DARQ, Other Service S4R, Audit Inventory Valuation.
  • Work the budget cycle through the B&P system providing updates internally for any pricing or demand changes.
  • Create projects within GFEBS (SAP Software) for all upcoming President Budget Appropriations.
  • Maintain CCAR records to maintain data integrity for all leadership utilizing the PMRT reporting tools.
  • Identify UFRs (Unfunded Requirements) for assigned programs as well as forecast support requirements for the future and plan execution accordingly.
  • Make formal and informal presentations to management and customers regarding resource requirements.
  • Attend weekly IPTs, and serve as a the primary POC for funding related issues during those meetings.
  • Submit weekly progress reports to Program Analyst Team Chief.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree is required at a minimum, however additional schooling and/or a Graduate degree is preferred.
  • Must have five to eight (5-8) years of professional related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is required specifically formatting and filtering through large data files and using formulas.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret.
  • Familiar with SAP Software, must be able to pull reports that reflect current funding postures for specific scenarios.
  • Willingness to learn new platforms/software, that is being introduced into the PM's by Army Leadership, examples include CCAR.
  • Work independently with limited personnel available for assistance at times and must be detailed oriented.

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 5 to 10 pounds
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
