The Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois Chicago invitesapplications and nominations for a Chief for the Division of InfectiousDiseases. The Division offers exceptional opportunities for clinical care,research, and education and outstanding faculty who engage in multidisciplinarycollaborations, funded research, and close partnerships with community-basedagencies. The successful candidate will lead the Division of Infectious Diseases’clinical, scholarly, educational, and service missions while working closelywith the College of Medicine and the University of Illinois Hospital andClinics (UI Health). We seek an outstanding candidate at the rank of AssociateProfessor or Professor (rank commensurate with qualifications) with a record ofextramural funding, program of research, and evidence of collaboration,mentoring, and clinical service. The candidate must have excellent leadershipskills to support and grow the division and advance its commitment to diversityand inclusion.
