Position Summary
The incumbent will conduct drug allergy evaluations and skin testing, consult with patients with drug and food challenges, contact dermatitis evaluations and patch testing, and patients needing more urgent outpatient consult appointments.
Duties & Responsibilities

The incumbent will conduct drug allergy evaluations and skin testing, consult with patients with drug and_x000d_food challenges, contact dermatitis evaluations and patch testing and patients needing more urgent_x000d_outpatient consult appointments._x000d__x000d_Other duties include: adult asthma education, obtaining prior authorization for medications (Biologics, IVIG),_x000d_patient phone calls and medication refills, and giving allergen immunotherapy and/or biologic injections as_x000d_well as evaluating allergy inpatient consults, performing inpatient beta-lactam and other drug skin testing at_x000d_bedside. Coordinates routine inpatient desensitizations for Hem/Onc and other service patients with primary_x000d_team, ICU, and pharmacy. Provides adult asthma education for inpatients.

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
