Acquisition Specialist- Journeyman: Bowhead seeks a Acquisition Specialist- Journeyman for a proposal effort in California, MD area that can s upport and draft program milestone related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD and SECNAV 5000 series directives.

ResponsibilitiesEssential functions will include:
- Supports the development of program acquisition documentation such as APs, Acquisition Strategy Reports (ASR), PIDs, SOWs, funding documents, CDRLs, and Acquisition Program Baseline Agreements (APBAs).
- Assess program procedures, practices, philosophies, and documentation for compliance with specifications, contracts, and mission requirements
- Attends, participates, supports, analyzes, provides input, develops, prepares and reports on briefs, point papers, reports, correspondence, meetings, conferences, and review boards
- Other acquition documentation duties as assigned
- BA/BS degree with less than three (3) years’ experience performing duties described in the functional description
- Ability to follow guidance and Program Office Managers direction
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
