Overview PROGRAM MANAGER - TECHNICAL (ITP): Bowhead is seeking a highly experienced Program Manager - Technical to manage a large and complex IT program in the Washington, DC/Northern Virginia region. This is a fast paced job managing subject matter experts and IT professionals advising executive level personnel on financial, technical, and other high-level policy areas. Responsibilities * Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted program/project typically consisting of a set of closely related subprograms or associated activities
* Oversees fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program
* Have an understanding and experience with large complex IT projects and organizations
* Other duties as assigned Qualifications * Education: Master's Degree or Equivalent * Years of experience: 10 * Required skills or certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) * Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts * Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds * Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time * Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level.
