Role PurposeAs the Director of Hospital Operational Finance, you will provide leadership support for the University of Kentucky Hospitals at all clinical sites throughout the UK Health System, with a direct reporting relationship to the Associate CFO of Health System Operational Finance. This key role supports the University of Kentucky HealthCare system by providing operational support and financial knowledge and insight that helps to improve performance and shape the strategic path of the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Include:
Managing and coordinating hospital financial planning activities, including long term financial planning, operating budgets, and forecasts.
Supports organization-wide strategic planning, business prioritization and resource allocation processes with respect to UKHC finances, budgets, opportunities for cost reduction, and opportunities for growth
Accountable and responsible for oversight and direction of financial planning activities for the hospital entities
Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesMust demonstrate the ability to conduct and interpret qualitative/quantitative analysis of finances and operative data. Microsoft office suite, financial analytics, data mining, health system decision support systems, data visualization, basic accounting and financial reporting. Tableau experience desirable.
