UL Solutions is Hiring a Corporate Strategy Analyst Near Chicago, IL
Responsibilities
- Supports corporate strategy, and/or corporate initiatives, priorities, and special initiative projects, including collaborating with business lines across Regional and Functional areas.
- Supports annual corporate and region planning activities including development of long-range plans and priorities.
- Develops market and competitor intelligence including researching disruptive threats and opportunities, analyzing competitors’ strengths and weaknesses and understanding key market dynamics that will position the company to win.
- Supports the regional strategy development process
- Researches opportunities for ULS to grow through organic and acquisition investments that are inline with UL’s long-range plans.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information, and develops projections, reports and, or presentations.
- Conducts periodic reviews of achievements and performance versus strategic plans.
- Read and follow the UL Solutions Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
- Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a business analysis, strategy, or management consulting role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Demonstrated strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment and handle multiple projects
