The ESG Operations Leader with a Business Analyst Focus is a hybrid role designed to combine the strategic and analytical functions of a business analyst with the leadership and operational responsibilities of an operations manager. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations while driving process improvements, analyzing business performance, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities
  • Operations Management:
  • Oversee ESG daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage and lead the operations team, providing guidance and support.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
  • Business Analysis:
  • Conduct detailed analysis of ESG business processes, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Develop and present business cases for process improvements and new initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports on operational performance.
  • ESG Strategic Planning:
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, cost savings, and increased efficiency.
  • Lead projects aimed at process optimization and business development.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage and oversee various projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Team Leadership: (as required)
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Encourage professional development and continuous learning within the team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in operations management and business analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven experience in process improvement and project management.
  • Proficient in business analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and other operational software.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and budgeting.
