Role Description

IT Director will be responsible for overseeing our all aspects of our information technology infrastructure and operations, ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our systems and networks. The IT Director will be responsible for overseeing our partnership with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) and technology vendors used across the Firm. The IT Director will play a key role in training and ensuring that our employees have the knowledge and skills required to leverage technology effectively to support our business objectives and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Qualifications

  • IT Management, IT Operations, and IT Strategy skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of proven IT management experience, with a focus on delivering, optimizing, and managing technology solutions in Wealth Management.
  • Strong technical expertise spanning infrastructure, networking, security, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of wealth management industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Experienced in project management, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for facilitating others' success in utilizing technology. 
  • Analytical and solution-oriented, with a track record of timely resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in IT training and user support.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in cybersecurity best and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience with data management and analytics (Data Lakes, OLAP, ETL, AI/MI, etc.)
  • Skilled in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving performance improvements.
