As a Charity Fundraising Assistant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal and external fundraising inquiries. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining our donor database, delivering exceptional customer care, and supporting various fundraising and promotional events.
Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the initial point of contact for all fundraising inquiries, both from within the organization and from external sources
• Provide exemplary customer care, ensuring prompt and personalized acknowledgments for new and departing donors
• Collaborate closely with management and the communications team to create compelling donor communications
• Assist in the planning, logistics, and on-the-day support for fundraising and promotional events
• Maintain the integrity of our donor database, including providing training and support to colleagues on data inputting
• Handle data inputting, amendments, report generation, and data queries as needed
• Support the fundraising team in prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Stay updated on fundraising initiatives and trends across various sectors
• Bring fresh ideas and initiatives to the role while taking ownership of your work
