Job Description

The Sr. Supply Analyst will collect data, perform analysis, and report on a variety of ad hoc requests related to inventory management. They will be responsible for maintaining appropriate parts availability to support the ports and the Distribution Centers. They will create in-depth level analysis utilizing Excel, Access, and SQL. The role will sit onsite in Fountain Valley, CA and pay up to $40/hr DOE.

Ensuring parts and accessories are expedited for critical low inventory requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric and proactive mind set, excellent organizational skills, great follow up, and strong critical thinking.

JOB DUTIES

• Update reports daily utilizing data from SAP.
• Review suggested transfer files and initiate transfers to balance the inventory.
• Support any ad-hoc requests for analysis, information, special projects, or additional tasks.
• Run queries in Access, using SQL, based on requirements specified by management.
• Periodically check for data integrity, and work with systems to correct any issues.
• Monitor orders and work closely with expedite team to ensure any critical parts are resolved.
• Study current forecasting and inventory management processes, and implement any necessary changes to improve accuracy and efficiency, with the goal of common and integrated processes.
• Coordinate with managers to address any problems affecting the planning and expediting of parts.
• Communicate with Management any issues and the resolutions to provide better customer service through process improvement.
• Send monthly inventory update sheet to ports.
• Attend port audits as needed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred or combination of education and related experience

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of directly related experience in inventory management
• Experience with inventory planning required
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Excellent organizational skills (Reports and Timelines)
• Experience with Access and SQL required
