Ultimate Staffing is Hiring a Human Resources Generalist Near Chanhassen, MN

Job Duties/Description:

  • Lead and manage the entire new hire onboarding and orientation process from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and effective experience.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews, conducting phone screenings, posting job ads, collaborating with managers, screening resumes, and using the company's HR analytics system to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and administrative matters.
  • Administer employee benefits, assist with open enrollment, and coordinate with the company's broker to resolve benefits-related inquiries.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of invoices before submitting them for timely payment.
  • Address internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Handle minor employee relations issues and resolve them, escalating major issues to the Director as needed.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of organizational and HR policies.
  • Effectively manage and execute the employee termination process.
  • Generate and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, prepare HR activity reports for management, and use data to inform HR strategy.
  • Lead the employee engagement committee by organizing monthly meetings, coordinating sales celebrations, company events, and other committee initiatives.
  • Maintain office supply inventory, anticipate supply needs, ensure timely ordering and delivery of supplies, and distribute supplies to workstations as necessary.
  • Perform administrative tasks for the Human Resources department and office as required.

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of previous experience working in Human Resources
  • Bachelors Degree in human Resources or related field
  • SHRM- CP certification preferred
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Must be able to work well independently
  • Must have a tactical mindset

Additional Info:

  • Pay range: $60,000-$75,000 8% bonus potential
  • Schedule: 7:30am-4:00pm
  • Location: 100% in office- some flexibility for weather & sick time
