The Role
We are seeking a highly qualified and flexible Install Service Technician to join our team at UTG. This individual will play a crucial role in the growth of our market, primarily focusing on the Dallas area while frequently traveling out of state. The ideal candidate will excel in both AV installations and service, providing exceptional support and expertise to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of AV equipment and systems.
- Ensure all installations meet company standards and client specifications.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with AV systems and provide effective solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service and installation activities.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Travel frequently out of state to perform installations and service as required.
Competencies
Must-Haves
- 5 Years AV Technician Experience
- Commercial Audio-Visual Installation Experience
- Strong Technical Knowledge of AV Equipment and Systems
- Crestron and Biamp Experience
- Customer Service Experience
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Willingness to Travel Frequently
